Kevin Shackelford serves as senior vice president, head of creative operations for digital services, bringing expertise in client services, production and operations management for his design teams. Kevin manages day-to-day trafficking, estimating and coordinating all design projects for government, social marketing, health and public affairs clients. He manages pricing and scheduling material production and serves as the print production liaison between the design and account teams for estimates, scheduling, printing and fulfillment of creative production. Kevin manages production and printing schedules, performs press inspections and oversees quality control for all design projects. He has extensive and long-running relationships with vendors to ensure the highest quality and competitive pricing.

 

Kevin provides creative support for the agency’s clients and account teams. Recent work includes development of creative, event signage and promotional materials for award-winning programs for The Clorox Company’s campaigns: Bleach It Away and Ick-tionary (2013 Diamond SABRE Award, 2014 PRSA Silver Anvil Award and Silver Anvil Award of Excellence); The Hershey Company’s campaigns: Simple Pleasures (2013 Silver Anvil) and Moderation Nation (2013 Gold SABRE finalist); and DoubleTree by Hilton campaigns: Little Things Project (2013 Silver Anvil, two Bronze Anvils, Gold SABRE Award) and DTour of a Lifetime (2014 Silver Anvil Award and Silver Anvil Award of Excellence). He also manages all design projects for MasterCard, which includes internal and external communications materials, infographics and brochures ( 2014 Silver Anvil) and recently managed design for Airlines for America (PRWeekCrisis or Issues Management Campaign of the Year, Gold SABRE, PRSA Bronze Anvil, two Silver Anvil Awards of Excellence).

 

Kevin has managed design and production for such organizations as Mastercard, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health, the National Cancer Institute, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Hershey’s, Freddie Mac, Riggs Bank, The Washington Post, ManTech International Corporation and the Brookings Institution.

 

Through his work with large clients on branding, annual reports and other creative materials, Kevin has experience working directly with print vendors in preparing and providing graphic files for printing. His capabilities fully encompass estimating, preparation of files, print inspection, as well as delivery and fulfillment.

 

Kevin is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication.
